Vintage dry-mounted print published for the occasion of Babar's 50th birthday. The famous character was imagined by Céline de Brunhoff when she told stories to her children in the evening, and later her husband Jean brought the little elephant to life by illustrating the very first album of Babar's adventures for their children in 1931. The frame measures 18” by 24” by 3/8” thick. Used, but in good condition.
