Cassis Bistro is looking for qualified and experienced Line Cook. All indigenous persons, youths, new comers are encouraged to apply. Employer: Cassis Bistro Flexible hours Position: Line Cook Number of Vacancy: 1 Terms of Employment: Full-time Salary: $18 per hour Anticipated Start Date: As soon as possible Requirements: • Completion of high school or equivalent • Minimum 1 year related experience in a fast paced environment • Strong work ethic • Ability to communicate well with back and front of house staff • Demonstrated experience in high volume restaurant required Language Requirement: English JOB DUTIES: • Prepare and cook menu items in accordance with the standards set by the Head Chef in cooperation with the rest of the kitchen staff, • Ensure quality of food is top notch and consistent, • work with specialized cooking equipment, • Ensure that kitchen, all food prep areas and all food storage areas meet cleaning standards, • Follow recipes and presentation specifications, • Meet dietary requirements where required, • Clean and maintain station.
