2004 Pontiac Sunfire - 2nd Owner - Mechanic's Car - Winter Tires

$1000 obo. 2004 Pontiac Sunfire SL 273,723km 4-door automatic transmission. 2.2L inline 4-cylinder engine (140hp). Power steering and brakes. Manual windows and locks. Tires: Winter tires M+S (2 good, 2 fairly worn) P195/70/R14 Peppy and efficient, great interior and exterior body condition. Some rust on the undercarriage at junctions/mounting spots, as to be expected, but the floors and wheel wells are all solid- no crunchy floors or fumes in the cabin. Smooth ride, good acceleration and braking. I am told the original owner was a mechanic who kept it maintained for my mum since 2016, though I do not have receipts or the fella's name (he's on an acreage in the outskirts of Parksville and may have recently retired from private work except for a few loyal Betty's and Bob's). **(Car is now in Chemainus)** She drove seldom- short town trips in Parksville and some highway runs to Nanaimo for Costco/Walmart once a month or two. Occasional trips to Qualicum before COVID, local use in last few years due to advancing Alzheimer's. **(Car is now in Chemainus)** No known accident history or mechanical issues. It needs an oil change, but rest of fluids are good. Brake wear/condition unknown. Interior has been super deep cleaned, and spare tire well has a quick shot of spray paint (some distilled water broke back there years ago and it looks rough but is still solid-- she put a towel in there which unfortunately rusted the rim of the 'doughnut' wheel- it's holding air fine but may not be road worthy- the bead might fail when driven on, fyi). I have left the engine bay untouched so buyers can see the condition. Price negotiable, but please consider most comparables (age and mileage) are asking for more and have existing body damage, after-market modifications, missing components, and are in overall poorer condition with more owners likely.
