A supportive team that will encourage your professional growth and development Shifts: Day shift Mon-Fri, with some weekend availability required when projects are needed. This role will run a team of size 10-12 front-line hourly trades people (electrician and mechanics) who run in 3 shifts 24/7. The availability to answer emergency calls is important. Education: PLC Certification & Electrical ticket is an asset. Experience: Strong track record of safety, this team has had 4 years of no lost time. Previous maintenance management in a food manufacturing plant is a must. Experience in a leadership role in a unionized environment. Management in beverage and food packaging experience is an asset. Skills and Abilities: Fully computer literate. Excellent knowledge of mechanical and manufacturing plant equipment. Strong planning, analytical, negotiation, communication and interpersonal skills. Ability to lead meetings with hourly employees. Excellent leadership skills. Knowledge of all Labour and Health & Safety Regulations.
