This home support position is in a lively family home where assistance is being provided to a creative woman in her early 40's with multiple health issues, who is dependent on a power wheelchair. She is a mother to an active toddler and a large dog. Those suited to this job are caring, physically strong, proactive, organized, and patient with repetitive work duties and flexible with changing household needs. Duties include assistance with personal care, transfers to and from wheelchair, light housekeeping, meal prep, assistance with outings and activities with daughter, and driving the client’s accessible van. Applicants must have experience maintaining a household, caring for others, a valid driver's license and good driving record and be physically fit and strong for transfers. 1st and 2nd Covid-19 vaccinations are required. Compensation is $24/hr. 35 - 45 hours per week. 5 days /wk Option to live-in with a private living space is available.
