Vintage micro stereo system for sale. Made in the late 1970's in Taiwan for Simpon's-Sears. Nice real wood veneer cabinetry with two detached bass-reflex speakers. The system comprises an integrated amplifier with a quality phono-stage (allowing you can connect a turntable), an AM/FM superheterodyne receiver with an old school slide-rule dial. There's even a three position MW "beat cut" switch reducing the "beat frequency" often detected from faraway stations. The system can operate in Monotone, Stereo, or the expended range of Matrix. While the unit does have a cassette deck, it hasn't operated for years. To playback MP3/CD/Tape-units, there's a handy auxiliary (AUX) switch. The dimensions of the receiver is 6.75" x 10.75" x 11" tall. The speakers are 6.75" x 6.25" x 11" tall. Each 4Ω two-way speaker sports an 1.25" tweeter and a 5" woofer. Used, but in good condition.
