Two Schwalbe "Snow Stud" studded mountain bike tires (26" x 1.90) for sale. They have 100 steel studs and an aggressive tread for great traction on snow and ice. Because of the placement of the studs, the tires can be driven on hard surfaces also. Used for one season; in good condition. Asking $75 each, or $135 for the matching pair. Below is info from the manufacture... Amazing traction for winter riding. The aggressive tread design and lug pattern prevents snow and ice build-up on the tire. The 100 tungsten-carbide spikes bite into the snow and ice, giving you the confidence to ride no matter what the weather. Perfect winter tire. The spikes are not on the tread center; but arranged on the sides in the area of greatest contact pressure. When properly inflated the tire can also be used under normal, ice and snow-free, road conditions. By lowering the air pressure the tire gains optimum grip on icy roads.
