2008 Masi "Speciale Fixed" Italian designed bicycle for sale. Super light Masi hand-built (double-butted Chromoly) frame with an old-school Cr-mo lugged forks. The frame size is 19-inches with a stand-over height of 30-inches. While the rear wheel is considered a "flip-flop", only one fixed cog is included. The frame comes complete with two sets of water bottle bosses (down/seat tubes), with a rear brake cable-guides along the top tube. Traditional caliper brakes can be installed on the front forks and break-bridge on the seat-stays. The rear dropouts are modeled directly after the vintage Campagnolo track dropouts- complete with "BREV. MASI" stamped in the dropout along the curve of the drop-out socket. The 700x23c Michelin Krylion Carbon tires are mounded on AlexRims DA22 aluminum rims. The geometry is in between a road bike and a track bike so it makes a great intro-to-track bike or a superb fixed gear training bike... or a cool messenger bike. Used, but in good condition.
