Electronics Repair Technician (2038-046)

We are currently seeking an Electronics Repair Technician (Geomatic Product Specialist) to join our growing service team within Brandt's Positioning Technology Division. This is an exciting position and a great opportunity to be hands on with some of the most innovative positioning technology available including machine automation, GNSS and robotic instrumentation. Travel may be required to the various Brandt Tractor branch locations. This position would be based out of our Calgary, AB branch office. The Electronics Repair Technician will be responsible for pre-delivery inspections, equipment testing, diagnosing repairs, equipment repair, equipment calibrations, warranty work and other electronics related service work. The ideal candidate should have a degree or diploma in Electronics Engineering and possess the mechanical aptitude to perform service bench testing, repairs and calibrations for various electronic equipment and components. Extensive training will be provided to the qualified candidate. Product knowledge with related positioning technology equipment would be an asset as well as relevant work experience in the construction, land surveying and/or engineering field. The candidate should have an aptitude for computer related technology as well as good organizational and problem solving skills.
